Founded by a Tailor

Tailor Supply Co. was founded by Michael McDonald, a British entrepreneur and founder of Suit Republic - a custom tailoring brand established in 2014 and operating across multiple cities in China. 

With formal training at the London College of Fashion and over a decade of operational experience in the tailoring industry, he built Tailor Supply Co. to address the supply challenges faced by ateliers around the world.

Having built and scaled a tailoring business firsthand, Michael understood the operational challenges studios face:

• Balancing cost with quality

• Scaling without compromising standards
